Music Tutor Plus App Reviews

Great but there are improvements

I could give five stars easily. But I give three stars so the developers read this and improve the score chart. Its too little and difficult to comprehend the info and to see the user evolution. Moreover, the results are mixed, I hope they divide the bass, treble and treble + bass in different charts. When this is done, is a 5+ star app for beginners in musical reading!

A++

simple and nice

Exactly what I want

Nice app to practice! I do recommend. Would be nice if there were Russian notes: до ре ми etc

Perfect

Be sure to skip the free version. The ads will drive you nuts. This app is well worth the dollar 99. I really like being able to select particular ranges of notes, and also the option of including or not including sharps and flats. Its an excellent app and Ive tried many others similar to this. Just go with this one its the best.

Ok for practice but not teaching

If you already know how to read then its ok for practice, if you dont already know your clefts this isnt idea, its kind and of like taking a class that gives you a test before teaching you whats its going to be on.

Excellent Learning Tool

Ive used this app over the last few years and it has been beneficial in helping me learn notes. I like that over time it tracks my progress, which has been satisfying. I continue to use this app and highly recommend it for beginners.

Awesome!

Awesome app! Thanks!

Ok

Higher and lower notes are missing, or it should be possible to turn them on. Leaderboard is not working at all!!!

Great app!

Very good application, simple and helpful. My reading has improved greatly!

Good App to learn!

Its a "must to have" app, for every mucians, which like to be better and faster to read music notes! Funny way to learn!

Speechless

The app is very simple in detail but produces a great outcome and helps anyone to learn music notes. Im currently learning piano on my own and this app helped me very much !! 5*

Very useful tool

This is really a very handy and useful tool for training sight reading.

great for teachers and students

I use this in my piano starter lessons. As its a game, my students are motivated to get more points than last week. I can check/uncheck accidentals in questions and select how the names should be displayed (American B or German H or ...). I wish it were possible to narrow down the smallest permissible range to a second (right now it will always display notes within a given octave range; for beginners who know only c,d,e itd be great to ask them only those three notes). Quite useful and recommended!

Good stuff!

Simple and useful. Keeps up my sight reading skill.

Annoyed with Leaderboard

I am trying to find an app for my studnets, but the leaderboard does not seem to work well... Kind of disappointed.

Reading notes

Interesting

Having fun, looking forward to levelling up!

Just a beginner who needs too brush up on some music theory amd sight reading. So far so good.

To cool for school

Really good and useful app, helps me a lot!

Doesnt teach!

It doesnt teach you anything, just tests you. Waste if money for me!!

Great little App for improving speed of note recognition

My daughters (8 & 12) and I use this tool in conjunction with piano & guitar practice as part of the weekly homework. We keep a little table of high scores on the 5 minute game. Great to have a goal to increase speed of note reading (higher score without losing accuracy in 5 min game). Agree this program would benefit from a note reading tutorial to round it out. Id recommend this app for late beginner or early intermediate learners who already know how to figure out the notes, but still have to apply a mnemonic to figure it out. Especially great to learn notes above and below the ledger lines, and as a transition to bass clef. Use this app 3 times per week for a month and youll be sight reading without even thinking. Say goodbye to Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge and All Cows Eat Grass, etc.
