Wonderful App!

I went three decades without using my music reading knowledge. When I began to need to refresh my music reading, I looked for the best app for this task. This music reading tutor app is my favorite of all Ive seen. It is a wonderful app!

Short, quick, accurate and helpful

Excellent for me

If I had more self discipline to play this at least 30 minutes a day continuously for one year Im sure my sight reading will reach a much better stage. App is wonderful. Where do the people can by self discipline ? I need some.

Crashes

Downloaded the app on the iPad using the last version before iOS 7 was introduced, and cant really give it true rating because it constantly crashes. Please fix

Simple and effective

Ive only had this a few days and I already see an improvement. I spend a few minutes a few times a day, and am recognizing the notes noticeably faster already.

Simple and straightforward

Easy to use app. bought it for my 7 year old. its not very fun - but it does exactly what i hoped. it gives you a note to read and 8 or so choices to guess from. At the end you can review the notes you read wrong.

Music Tutor review

I was looking for an application to improve my piano music sight reading that would quiz bass clef "and treble" clef "simultaneously" as you would view on music sheet... One over the other; in other words a whole measure wouldnt be necessary, just two clefs... There is no such application. That being said, this is my favorite app out there. I would also include "Note squish" a little fun while you are learning. I find Music Tutor more beneficial as at least you can quiz yourself on bass and clef without resetting.. Still if you are going to improve dramatically the "left and right brain" must learn to work simultaneously . Somebody out there has to create such an app. Call it "serious sight reader"

Helpful

This is the best app to learn or refresh your music theory knowledge. For me, it is a must have app.

Professional quality

Excellent app. Ive gone from 15-20 notes per minute to 60+ per minute my guitar notes burst off the page SWWEEEET!!!

Must have for improving sight reading

Amazing tool, gives proven results. Highly recommend this.

Excellent App

Fully recommended

Helpful.

So incredibly helpful studying on the fly. Good, quick, easy practice.

Awesome! Instruments?

Love this app, really helps a lot. I would like to see different instruments to make the sound of the displayed note. I really have a thing for strings, dont care for piano much.

Good app but....

Its a good app but............ It needs more time settings...

Really helps

Great app

Perfect note recognition app

This app is just what I was looking for. It quizzes your note recognition in the treble clef alone, bass clef alone, or both by randomly mixing them. I like that you can easily specify the range of notes, and that it goes up to 3 ledger lines above and below BOTH staves. It quizzes you flash card style, telling you only if you were right or wrong during the quiz, but then allows you to review your mistakes after the quiz. Works perfectly on my iPad Air. It is uncluttered and straightforward, just what I appreciate as an adult amateur musician.

Quality App

I have been looking for an app that is simple, intuitive, and customizable. This app gets right to business with sight reading practice. Very happy with my purchase!
